The McGill Savoy Society is proud to announce their 2011 production:

Ruddigore

or; The Witch's Curse

Gilbert and Sullivan's uproariously funny tenth operetta, Ruddigore, is coming to McGill in all its faux-Gothic majesty.  The heir to the baronetcy of Ruddigore is cursed to commit an evil deed daily, or else die in anguish.

Prepare for an evening of kidnapped maidens, thwarted romance, long-kept secrets, moustache-twirling supervillainy, haunted portraits, and dancing.  Lots of dancing.

Call for Creative Team Applications

The McGill Savoy Society is sending out their first call for creative team members.  We are looking for artistic individuals with a love for musical theatre to assist in the creation of the production, scheduled to go up in February 2011.

We are currently seeking the following:

• Stage Director
• Musical Director (Conductor)
• Choreographer
• Chorus Master
• Stage Manager

While we operate under the auspices of McGill University, we always welcome enthusiastic members from the Montréal community.
