Take the stage and showcase your talent in our February 2027 production of The Gondoliers; or The King of Barataria
Set in Venice, the show follows twin gondoliers Marco and Giuseppe. Their lives are flipped upside down when they discover that one of them is heir to the Mediterranean kingdom of Barataria but because of an infant kidnapping mix-up, no one knows which is the prince and which the gondolier! Until the true King can be determined, they decide to rule jointly as two halves of one individual. Hijinks ensue in this hilarious topsy-turvy satire of class and the aristocracy.

Expected Preparation:

• A 1-2 minute excerpt (16-32 bars) of an English-language song of your choice. Operetta songs or Golden Age musical songs (pre-1960s) are preferred.
• A backing track for your song.
• If interested in a speaking role, audition sides will be printed and provided.
